Who provides the services

Demanero is the brand under which David Emanuel Romero, an individual based in Spain, develops and provides the services. The legal notice contains the current identification and contact details of the operator.

Who may use the services

You may use the services only if you have legal capacity to accept these Terms or are duly authorised to act for an organisation. Demanero products are designed primarily for professional and operational use and are not directed to children under 13.

Accounts and security

Where an account is required, you are responsible for keeping access to your Google account, device and authentication methods secure and for providing accurate information. Do not share magic links, authentication codes or credentials. Notify Demanero promptly if you reasonably suspect unauthorised access.

Acceptable use

  • •

Use the services only for lawful purposes and with the rights or permissions required for the information you enter, scan, upload or share.

  • •

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with service integrity, abuse APIs, probe other users' data or introduce malware.

  • •

Do not use AssetSprint or Demanero services to create deceptive records, impersonate another person or process data you are not entitled to handle.

  • •

Reverse engineering or circumvention is prohibited except to the extent applicable law expressly grants a non-waivable right to do so.

Operational data and shared workspaces

You or your organisation retain the rights you hold in operational data submitted to the services. You grant Demanero only the limited permissions technically necessary to host, process, synchronise, export and display that data to provide the service. Data placed in a shared workspace can be visible to authorised workspace members according to their role. When an account is deleted, operational records that belong to another account's shared workspace may remain as workspace history with account attribution removed as described in the privacy policy.

AssetSprint and operational decisions

AssetSprint is designed to support scanning, audits, transfers, associations and related operational workflows. It is not represented as an authoritative ERP, accounting record or master asset register. Users remain responsible for reviewing critical results, maintaining appropriate source records and deciding how generated reports are used.

Availability, updates and changes

Demanero may maintain, improve, replace or discontinue features to keep products secure and useful. Reasonable efforts will be made to avoid unnecessary disruption. No clause in these Terms removes any update, conformity, notice or remedy right that applicable consumer law makes mandatory.

Paid plans, purchases and subscriptions

Paid features are introduced only when they are shown as available in the relevant product or store. Before purchase, the applicable checkout must show the plan, price, taxes where applicable, billing period or one-time nature, renewal and cancellation information, and the main entitlement. Purchases handled by Google Play or another platform are also subject to that platform's payment and billing terms. Store rules do not reduce statutory rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Demanero's planned Free, Pro and Business model remains subject to the exact information displayed at purchase.

Mandatory consumer rights

If you use a service as a consumer, these Terms do not exclude or limit rights that applicable law makes mandatory. Any clause that conflicts with a non-waivable consumer protection applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law. Information shown immediately before a paid order forms part of the contract where the law requires it.

Regional consumer notices

European Economic Area

Consumers in the EEA retain the mandatory protections applicable to distance contracts and digital content or digital services, including pre-contract information, conformity remedies and a 14-day withdrawal right where it applies. Any early performance, loss or exception to withdrawal is effective only when the legal requirements for consent, request and acknowledgement have been met. Mandatory rights under the consumer's country of residence remain unaffected.

United Kingdom

UK consumers retain mandatory rights relating to online and distance sales, digital content and services, cancellation, refunds and fair contract terms. Where a purchase is made through an app store, the store process may handle billing or refund requests, but this does not remove rights that UK law places on the trader or developer.

United States

Nothing in these Terms waives consumer rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable federal or state law. Availability, tax treatment and product terms can vary by state or platform. Demanero does not introduce a mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver through these Terms.

Latin America

Consumer and digital-service rules vary significantly by country. Mandatory local rights continue to apply where the services are lawfully offered to consumers in that country. Demanero may publish a country-specific addendum or restrict commercial availability before actively targeting a particular market; a generic Latin America section is not intended to replace country-specific obligations.

Privacy and data protection

Personal data is handled under the applicable Demanero privacy information and the product-specific privacy policy. These Terms do not authorise Demanero to use personal data for purposes outside those notices. If you submit personal data about colleagues or other people, you are responsible for having a lawful basis or other authority appropriate to your role.

Suspension, termination and account deletion

You may stop using the services at any time and may use the published account-deletion process where available. Demanero may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance or a serious breach of these Terms. Where consumer or contract law requires notice, refund, continued access or another remedy, those rights prevail.

Demanero intellectual property

Demanero products, source code, design, branding, documentation and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant a limited, non-exclusive right to use the services as provided; they do not transfer ownership of Demanero technology or branding.

Third-party services

The services can depend on third parties such as Google, Firebase, Google Play, device operating systems, network providers or hardware readers. Their own terms and technical availability may also apply. Demanero remains responsible for obligations that applicable law places on Demanero and does not use third-party terms to remove mandatory user rights.

Responsibility and liability

Demanero does not promise that every service will be uninterrupted or free from every defect. To the extent permitted by law, Demanero is not responsible for indirect business losses caused by decisions made solely from unverified operational data or by third-party systems outside Demanero's reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from fraud or other categories protected by mandatory law.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections or jurisdiction rights granted by the law of your habitual residence. For users acting exclusively in a business or professional capacity, and where legally permitted, disputes are submitted to the courts of Madrid, Spain. You can contact Demanero first at support@demanero.com without losing any right to use a competent authority, court or mandatory dispute mechanism.

Changes to these Terms

Demanero may update these Terms when products, law or commercial models change. Material changes will apply prospectively and will be communicated or require renewed acceptance when applicable law or the nature of the change requires it. The current version and update date remain available on this page.
